The Real Secrets to a Successful Crowdfunding Campaign

Crowdfunding is super popular nowadays. If you’re not too familiar with it, that’s okay. This is the basic concept: You have an idea for a product or creative project you want to get off the ground and in exchange for prizes at various levels, donors will give you money to launch the project.

There are different kinds of crowdfunding platforms, though, and each cater to a different kind of product. Kickstarter is a creative project hub, IndieGoGo can be used for charities, and GoFundMe has been used for missionary/volunteer and study abroad trips.

It seems to be helpful, yet something still feels off about crowdfunding. Who are we letting off the hook?
